I recently stayed at a lovely cottage in Singleton for my son's wedding. Old Smithy Cottage was the perfect choice, allowing us to bring our dogs and being conveniently located just 7 minutes away from the wedding venue. The cottage was spotless, well-equipped, and had a fully secured garden with a charming sun house. It provided all the comforts of home and we couldn't ask for more. The communication with Carley was excellent, and the welcome items and card were a lovely touch.
Totally recommend this hotel.

We had an absolutely amazing stay at this charming cottage. The interior decor was delightful and every detail had been carefully thought about. The facilities provided were top-notch, ensuring a comfortable and luxurious experience. We especially loved dining in the adorable "summer house" in the garden. Additionally, the location in a rural village added to the overall charm, with cows crossing the road and even a peacock making appearances. It was a faultless experience and we couldn't have asked for more.
Was all great.

The location of the cottage was perfect for our Christmas getaway. It was close to all the key amenities and attractions, making it convenient for us to explore the area. Another great aspect was the cleanliness of the cottage. It was spotless when we arrived, which made us feel comfortable and at ease. the cottage had a beautiful garden where we could relax and enjoy our morning coffee.
The limited parking space for our car. It was a bit tight and caused some inconvenience during our stay.

Loved the fireplaces, but seriously, who needs towels? I prefer just wiping myself off with the curtains. And the washing machine? Pfft, I prefer to wash my clothes in the creek like a true pioneer.
The parking space was so tight, I had to fold my car in half to fit. Ridiculous!

My recent stay at Old Smithy Cottage was absolutely delightful. From the moment I arrived, I knew I had made the right choice. The communication with the host, Carley, was excellent, ensuring a smooth and hassle-free arrival. The cottage itself was stunning, with a charming rustic decor and all the facilities one could possibly need. It was clear that every detail had been carefully thought out. I particularly loved the lovely back garden area, where I could relax and enjoy a cuppa. The cottage was also incredibly spacious, providing ample room for me and my family. It was evident that the cottage had been recently refurbished and was in pristine condition. I was also pleasantly surprised by the little extras that awaited me on arrival, such as milk, coffee pods, and small cakes. These thoughtful touches were much appreciated. The location of the cottage was perfect for attending a family wedding, as it was conveniently located nearby. The surrounding rural village added to the charm, with cows crossing the road and even a peacock making appearances. It truly felt like a serene escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The only drawback, if I had to nitpick, was having one bathroom for the six of us. It could be a bit tricky at times, but we managed just fine. I would absolutely recommend Old Smithy Cottage to anyone looking for a stunning, comfortable, and well-maintained retreat.

The Old Smithy Cottage felt like a cozy home away from home. The fresh smell and cleanliness were impressive. The cottage had everything we needed and the garden was a great place to relax. We wished we could have stayed longer than just one night. Despite the traffic speed through the village, it was still a wonderful place to stay. I would definitely recommend this place for a peaceful getaway.
